Tadlo Lodge is located in a spectacular area of natural beauty. Its in a prime location, spanning both sides of the Sexet River at Tad Lo village, with the Tad Hang waterfalls just below. The dazzling natural beauty of the area provides the perfect ambiance for you to relax and take in the stunning scenery. The area offers a wealth of activities for you to partake in and has a quality restaurant on site serving multinational cuisine. Where possible, we give you the choice of restaurant-side or waterfall side accommodation to enable your stay to be perfect.
Accommodation at Tadlo Lodge consists of 25 beautiful and modern Lao-style villa bungalows that are raised on stilts. Each of the bungalows is large and spacious with their own private balconies complete with outdoor furniture so you can relax and enjoy the natural scenery. To maximise natural light and airiness, each bungalow features a mesh skylight around the top of the walls. Each bungalow is unique, beautifully decorated with French, Lao and Cambodian artwork. and they are all maintained to a high standard to make your stay as comfortable as possible, with hot water bathrooms and electric fans.
Not only can you immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Sextet River area, but Tadlo Lodge is able to give you the opportunity to get closer to the native animals. The lodge is home to 2 rescued elephants and an orphaned otter which made itself at home in the large reception area and has become best friends with the resident black Labrador. We hope that your holiday experience is fun and unique and during your stay, staff are eager to help you arrange activities including trekking, cycling, swimming and of course elephant riding.

At Tadlo Lodge, we offer a quality restaurant with a delicious menu serving Lao, Thai, French and other international dishes. The unique setting offers stunning views and oriental décor with a collection of fine Khmer statues. During high season, you may be lucky enough to stay during one of our Barbecue Parties, where you can join management and staff in enjoying a wide selection of buffet choices in the idyllic setting of our grounds. In our restaurant / reception area you will find a selection of board games and reading material to keep you occupied.
Tadlo Lodge also provide complimentary WiFi access. In amongst the grounds of the resort, you will find a patong course, where you can practise this unique Lao pastime. For a more western pursuits, we also offer an open, flat plain that is ideal for mini-golf. Our experienced staff members are on hand to assist you with organising activities in the area. We can suggest guided treks and arrange bicycle hire, a perfect way to explore the natural surroundings. The resort is home to 2 Asian elephants, rescued from a life of hard labour. Guests can watch the elephants being bathed twice daily (around 7.30am and 16.30pm) and for the more adventurous, elephant riding is available for a small fee.
- Our bungalows are designed to reduce energy consumption, featuring mesh sky lights around the top of the walls, maximising fresh air and natural light inside therefore reducing the need for air conditioning and electrical lighting.
- To minimise polluting the pristine Sextet river, we have installed a modern septic system which ensures all waste and sewerage is recycled.
- Great efforts have been made to minimise the amount of land clearance. To avoid felling trees, bungalows have been placed with care and sometimes bungalows have been placed around trees. This adds to the uniqueness of every bungalow in Tadlo Lodge. More Info
